Ron Paul Receives More Key Iowa Endorsements
-On Monday 2012 Republican presidential candidate, Congressman Ron Paul, received two more key Iowa endorsements. Republican State Central Committee member Jeremiah Johnson and Dubuque Tea Party Organizer Jeff Leucke both formally announced their endorsements of Dr. Paul for the Republican presidential nomination.
“I am proud to fully support Ron Paul as the Republican nominee for President,” said Jeremiah Johnson. “I firmly believe he is the candidate who best understands our economy and has the best plan to get our nation past these difficult economic times.” Johnson is a Republican Central Committee member representing the first Congressional District in Iowa.
Being deemed “The Godfather of the Tea Party” by Fox News, Paul’s endorsement from a key tea party leader is further evidence of the strong tea party support he has across Iowa.
“Ron Paul represents the return to fiscal responsibility that the Tea Party is looking for,” said Jeff Leucke, organizer of the Dubuque Tea Party. “Ron Paul gets it more than any other Republican candidate and he has the knowledge and experience necessary to take on Obama in November and win.”
The announcement of these endorsements came at an event Paul held Monday in Dubuque as he met with Iowa voters and members of the media. The event was Congressman Paul’s sixth visit to Iowa in as many weeks.

Ron Paul Campaign Announces New Hampshire Chairman
Today, New Hampshire State Director for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign, Jared Chicoine, announced the appointment of State Senator Jim Forsythe as New Hampshire Campaign Chairman.
“We are very proud to have Jim not only on board, but taking a leadership role in our fight for this primary,” said Chicoine. “His dedication to the economic security of New Hampshire citizens and his deep understanding of electoral issues in this state will make him a real asset to the campaign.”
Senator Forsythe also released a brief statement:
“I’m honored to support Ron Paul’s campaign for the Republican nomination. Many issues will arise during this primary season, but none more immediately important than economic reality. Every candidate will be talking jobs, cuts, and taxes, but only Ron Paul has the track record to back up the rhetoric. For 30 years, Paul has warned us about monetary policy, warned us about spending, warned us about inflation. Now our people need jobs and dollars worth saving, and Paul can put us on the road to recovery.”
Jim Forsythe represents District 4 in the New Hampshire State Senate. Prior to taking public office, Jim was a successful entrepreneur in the aerospace industry, a KC-135 pilot and aircraft commander in the U.S. Air Force, and an associate professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
The Paul campaign also announced the addition of three NH field staffers:
Brian Early, Media and Field. Brian is a former political news reporter for the Hippo, and Manchester correspondent for New Hampshire Public Radio. He has also contributed to Reuters and National Public Radio. He is a New Hampshire native from Amherst.
Shaun Bowen, Field. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia, Brian recently worked as a field staffer for the National Right to Work Committee. Prior to taking that position, he interned with Young Americans for Liberty, organizing and developing college groups around the country. In 2008, he drove 14 hours to volunteer for the Ron Paul Campaign in the Iowa Caucuses.
Norman Tregenza, Field. Norman is a NH State Representative from Carrol, and sits on the House Judiciary Committee. His background includes four years in the United States Navy, three in the USN Reserves, and a professional background in the utility and fuel industries. In 2008, Norman was on the Ron Paul Campaign staff in both New Hampshire and Maine.

Transcript
Speaker: People see the government growing, the debt growing, and the inflation of food and energy. And they are justifiably worried. No one, literally no one in the country can be more credible to stand up at this point and say, “I told you so,” than Ron Paul. But of course, he doesn’t say that. He does what he’s always done: Calmly, honestly, consistently stand up for sound monetary and economic policy; for rational foreign policy and for the rights of the individual. And that’s why we are here today to support the man who’s been a staunch defender of the Constitution, the man who never voted to increase our debt, and who turned down his government pension. The man who inspired the TEA Party movement to call for lower spending. The man who served in the Air Force and who has delivered over 4000 babies. Please welcome Congressman Ron Paul!
[Applause.]
Ron Paul: Thank you very much! Thank you….
We’re on a schedule, you know. So that was very nice, and Jim, I certainly want to thank you. I’m very pleased to call Jim “Senator.” That is great. And also Chris, thank you for your efforts. And I want to acknowledge all our special guests behind me. Thank you very much for attending. And thank you all for coming. I am so delighted to see you involved in our revolution!
I have one update about the revolution. The revolution is spreading, and the momentum is building!
Our time has come. It’s been around for a long time. But the momentum is here today not because of what I have done. I happen to have been in an important place and energized some. But it is necessary that the Grass Roots people understand what the issues are. A generation of people need to know—and I am delighted that the young people are with us in this revolutionary spirit that we have!

Ron Paul 2012 Money Bomb – Feb. 21, 2011
Donate to Ron Paul’s official LibertyPAC on Monday, February 21st, 2011, during the Presidents’ Day Ron Paul 2012 Money Bomb!
America is dying and it needs a DOCTOR to save it! A REAL doctor, not a president who wants government to take over healthcare! Not only that, but America needs a president who understands Austrian economics and sound money; a president who is ready to take on the Federal Reserve system and rein in their dangerous and destructive policies. Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson ended the First and Second Banks of the United States - Show America you want Ron Paul to end the Third! Donate $20.12 (or whatever you can afford) to Ron Paul’s LibertyPAC.
America needs a fiscally-responsible president who is ready to tackle the debt crisis and runaway government spending by cutting wasteful programs, irresponsible policies (like the War on Drugs) and reforming our foreign policy by ending the unsustainable wars we are involved in as well as bringing our troops home from over 700 bases around the world and shutting most (if not all) of those bases down instead of using them to police over 130 countries.
Let’s show Ron Paul that we want him not only to speak for US on stage during the 2012 presidential debates, but also to make the banksters shudder at their desks with a credible, well-funded and decisive run for the presidency!

Ron Paul 2012 - for Liberty, Prosperity and Peace!
Ron Paul sent out the following letter to announce the official Presidents’ Day money bomb:
Dear Supporter,
A great man was born 279 years ago.
George Washington was a freedom fighter, a leader, and one of our greatest Presidents. But, much of General Washington’s greatness was marked not by what he did, but by what he chose not to do.
He could have been a King.
Instead, he stood for Liberty and stepped aside after eight years, allowing our young Republic to grow into the greatest nation in Human history.
2012 offers our movement a tremendous opportunity. Our nation is beset with crippling debt, an out of control federal government, and a foreign policy that weakens our national defense and isolates us from the world.
But with hard work and determination, we can change course and turn our country back toward Liberty and all of its rewards.
Quite frankly, we need to elect a President in 2012 who will do a lot less: less meddling in the economy, less spending, less warrantless ransacking, less bailing out of Wall Street, less inflating, and less foreign aid and overseas intervention.
We need a President who will respect our Constitution, not someone who simply pays lip service to our traditions.
Because I want a President who does so much less, a lot of people ask me if this means I want a weak President.
My answer is “No!” I want a strong President - a President like George Washington.
I want a President strong enough NOT to take power he should not have.
It is no secret that I am weighing my personal political options for 2012, and that I am relying on Liberty PAC to fund my efforts while I make important decisions.
Monday, February 21st, is Presidents’ Day, which celebrates George Washington’s birthday, and we hope to make it one to remember.
On Monday, Liberty PAC will host its first-ever Money Bomb. Please mark it on your calendar and consider contributing. If we all come together and pitch in, we can take our country back from the statists that are stealing our Liberty and shredding our Constitution.
The next few months will be critical to ensuring a successful political operation for the 2012 cycle. I hope you will join me by making this Presidents’ Day, February 21st, truly special.
